​With a 15-years of experience, Etkin EU has submitted more than 75 EU project proposals, all accomplished through strong partnerships and collaboration between universities and industries. Our extensive experience, skills, and visionary approach in R&D culture, innovation, project management, project development, grant supports, and loans enable us to develop and manage innovative R&D projects at both national and international scales, allowing our clients to tap into the abundant R&D funds available.

Our headquarter is located in Istanbul, Türkiye also operating in Kocaeli, Balıkesir, Bursa and Ä°zmir, among the most industrialised cities of the Turkey.

Meet The Team
Kemal SIDAR
Project Manager
Kemal has started his professional life as Business Development Manager in 2003 in Istanbul. He has established Etkin Proje (Istanbul-TR) on 2007 and he is currently managing partner of Etkin Proje. He is also the founder of London Bridge Project (London-UK) which is specialised in online (Amazon/E-commerce) and offline (Direct/Field) end to end sales management and representing several international companies from various countries in the UK.

Kemal has published a book about R&D project management and incentives and wrote several articles for newspapers, magazines, blogs and web sites about the UK market, cross border sales and sales management. He was awarded several times such as Fortune Magazine as “promising managers under 40 years old” (twice), and Fast 100 growing companies (twice) and Information technology companies 500 (three times) awards. Recently he has awarded by Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (2019) as the best newcomer company in the region.

He is member of several chambers and one of the board member of Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Project Consultant
BaÄŸlan studied Political Science and International Relations at BoÄŸaziçi University. He worked as a Research Assistant in the ERC Project titled "Emerging Welfare: Social Assistance Boom in Emerging Markets since the 1990s," which was coordinated by Koç University. He participated in various workshops and conferences in Europe and the US as a newcomer academic in social sciences and humanities before embarking on a career in EU projects and the European R&D ecosystem.
